Thursday, March 13, 2003 ( 11:50 AM ) Dear World, Look, I'm back! I don't have time to say much because I'm really busy, I've been spending most of my time working with Not In Our Name and MoveOn.org which are great organizations, MoveOn has an incredible idea for how we can have a real democracy, if you don't know about it I'll explain later. It's really cool. Right now though I have to announce something. Someone read my adventures and decided to publish some "excerpts" from my life in a literary magazine and she just sent me six free copies and there I am! Weird. But cool!!! Actually I knew about it before, I just didn't say anything because I wasn't sure it was really going to happen. I've known about it for months! But it was still a surprise to actually get the copies in the mail. It's a pretty spiffy publication that costs $7 and the cover is shiny and it's bound like a book. Well, it is a book I guess. Anyway another thing, my friend Jamie has a band called Whitey on the Moon which you may or may not know about. I really fucked up because *my* band which only really consisted of me and Amy didn't show up and we were supposed to open for them. I blame it all on Amy although now I feel kind of bad about that because it's not really her fault that she has mental difficulties. We're still friends. Or we are friends again. Anyway Whitey is playing tonight and I want to go see them to support them but I'm embarrassed about what happened last time, so I'm kind of torn. It's at the same place as before, Kimo's on Pine and Polk. Well that's all I had to say, I have to go do stuff now but I will return!
